The Peace Tree

​The Peace Tree is currently located in a small parking area adjacent to the Lake Red Rock Marina entrance road. Plans continue to be pursued to relocate the Big Sycamore to a more prominent and visible location. With design assistance from the Corps of Engineers, 3 interpretive signs have been produced and installed at the current location. These three signs will assist visitors to understand the tree’s history. The signs were funded through a grant awarded to the Red Rock Lake Association from the Weiler Foundation.
